This crystal was made with all transparent glass, but the process in the flame created some opacity and color layering to create effects that make it appear like it could have been created in nature. Some lighting will bring out more of the color changes, and when you hold it up to the light you can see through each section. The facets were taken to a 250 grit surface instead of a full polish, creating the soft appearance of the glass.
